The latest in pest control for flies. Seclira fly bait and control spray system is now available. The best news is that the new fly pest control system is completely safe to be used around homes, including kitchens and in food handling areas such as cafés and restaurants, but that’s only part of the good news. The new fly bait spray is fast-working and long-lasting without constantly polluting the air with aerosol chemicals or hearing the alarm of the bug zapper.

How does it work?
Flies in the summertime can seem like a Biblical plague here in Queensland. Many a family dinner or barbeque food is often spoilt by swarms of flies joining in on the party. The Aussie family will often fight back by filling the air with a can of fly spray, leaving the air smelling like a war zone, forcing you to also retreat from the room. Temporary relief and satisfaction are gained as a handful of flies buzz around on their backs, only for their mates to move back in once the air has cleared.

Seclira® Pressurised Fly Bait is a new groundbreaking, ready-to-use pressurised bait, enabling pest controllers to quickly and precisely place bait where nuisance flies naturally go. Seclira Pressurised Fly Bait is powered by a unique, fast-acting active ingredient that dries clear when applied to surfaces and has no odour —when applied to surfaces as a spot or band treatment to control nuisance flies in seconds and provide up to 6-weeks of residual efficacy.

Seclira Pressurised Fly Bait is not a conventional residual spray and therefore does not work by flies simply contacting a sprayed surface. The attractants within this bait mean that flies will be attracted to and subsequently attempt to feed on treated surfaces. They will then pick up a lethal dose.
Application
We apply the treatment to solid structures such as walls, fences, benches and garbage bins as an area or band spray. We target surfaces where flies rest. The best results are achieved when applied to non-porous surfaces. For season-long control, monthly applications may be required, depending on the situation and duration of the fly season.
