Trelona is powered by a unique active bait technology called Puri-cell which contains a unique active ingredient called Novaluron. This unique bait is highly palatable to all termite species, while also being robust to last in the tough Australian conditions.
Active termites feed on the highly attractive bait food source and translocate the non-repellent chemical to other members of the colony, at levels undetectable by those termites, until the colony collapses.
Before installation of Trelona ATBS, our termite inspector will, first of all, inspect your home to determine the level of risk and termite pressure on your home. On installations, Trelona stations are installed around your home, at approximately 3-metre spacings, We will also advise on the required inspections period, which may vary from one to six-monthly intervals, depending on the level of termite pressure, sites risks, and the type of system to be installed (monitoring vs. active).
